To her credit, she didn't follow him immediately after class; she gave him some time. Until lunchtime seemed like plenty -- more than plenty -- though, so there she was, standing outside his door, looking determined.

Kitty!Karla had different notions of etiquette (if not Protocol) than human!Karla did, so rather than tap on the door and wait for permission, she simply passed through the wood into the room, airwalked onto Ben's bed, and snuggled up next to him, as close as she could manage.
She didn't even headbutt him to remind him that she was due scritchings by virtue of being here. Instead, she just leaned up to lick his hand and then settled down to nap, purring a bit so he'd know she was there, with him, even when he was busy with something else.
