"Hey, you," Tahiri said, poking her head through the doorway. "I was thinking of heading into town for something to eat. Did you want to -- you're doing the tinkering thing again."
"Don't know. Something that isn't cookies. Maybe something with noodles." He earned an odd look from her for being pretty much unreadable; Anakin had never been able to completely shut his feelings off from her, and the fact that Ben could was both frustrating and a relief, somehow. "Better your hands than your mind?"
Ben nodded. Right now, it looked more like a collection of pieces than anything remotely droid-like. "I'm not in the right headspace to work on the lightsaber," he said. "This is complicated. I like complicated."
