so i've been TA'ing a computer literacy class that SAJE administers through LA Trade Tech (a local tech school/JC). I have a love/hate relationship with the Grove. On one hand, I know its this disgusting horrible chain-store facade of American community...same damn stores, slightly different setting. And don't even get me started on the strangely popular appeal of those fountains. L A M E. But, I do think the Grove helps support and preserve the older and still genuine Farmers Market...a place I hope that lasts well past my own lifetime. More Bennett's...less Forever 21!

heh. yeah what's the deal w/ that fuckin fountain.

i agree about farmer's market, but if that's the only reason why we like it, there's GOT to be a better way to revitalize that place (altho i think it's great that FM is doing really well.)

i DO miss the nursery that used to be there. oh wait, they moved down the street huh. n/m. :p
