2. Get a new tablet - Check
3. Get a new scanner - Still thinking. At the meantime, using office's scanner.

With my new CPU and tablet, I might be able to do more arts in the future. :D

This month, I've watched two movies, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland and Dreamworks' How to train Your Dragon.

Eeeee I wanna watch HTTYD! I saw the trailer at the movies and thought it was adorable and like you, I wasn't expecting it to be really good hahah, so I'm surprised that it got such overwhelmingly positive reviews. I'm excited! <3

I think part of the problem I had with the film was because of Johnny Depp. I love the guy, but his Mad Hatter was a screen stealer in nearly every one of his scene, appearing far more then he had any right to. Alice met him only once prior as a little girl, yet they go about as though they're "best fwiends 4ever." It feels like an obvious attempt of Disney pushing Depp because he's a bankable actor.

But ironically, I felt Helena Bohnam Carter's character was the one true "spotlight stealer"...and I liked it. I didn't feel she completely took over like Depp did, but was in the right time and place. Her portrayal as the Red Queen was solid.

I might consider How to Train Your Dragon since the praise has been universally good, but I am VERY wary. It doesn't matter that Chris Sanders directed it, I usually cannot stand Dreamworks films. So basically, it's approach with caution for me.

She really plays the character well without stealing too much spotlight. Yes, the close friendship between Alice and the Mad Hatter in the movie seemed a bit rushed to me as well.

Being wary sometimes is a good thing. No matter how great a movie is to most people, there has to be a few critiques from the rest. Always. We can't expect everyone to like it 100%.

But give How to train your Dragon a go, I'd really like hear your review about it. You most probably will find some flaws in the movie that I didn't realize nor notice when I was watching it.

Ahaha! I probably will. I'm a horrible person because I'm hard to please.
