More a self-reminder

I thought it was weird that it was still kinda warm in my apartment, even with the air conditioner on, but was willing to chalk it up to air exchange and the shortcomings thereof.

Then I realized that the baseboard heaters were controlled separately from the central unit and were still on full-blast.

It's much nicer in here, now, thanks for

housing

Hehe...I wish that was our only problem. We don't have any control over our heat, and the landlord doesn't believe/doesn't care or something. So it is still going--FULL BLAST like it has all winter. The upstairs bathroom is 98 degrees farenheit. I got about two hours of sleep last night because of the heat, and this is with all the windows wide open. Somebody is getting a really irate phone call at 8:01 this morning!

Sounds like my place in London! Since they didn't have any air conditioning, even when the heaters were turned off it was disgustingly sticky-hot inside all summer. I had all windows open at all times, and slept beside a jet-turbine fan.

Sure, I could have bought an air conditioner and installed it, but then I'd have to pay money to keep it going.
