Not my style, man. I'll have to see what they look like when they evolve. or maybe I'll just pick the pig and it will be a surprise. When I played Diamond, I had NO IDEA what the starters were going to evolve into, since I didn't watch the show or have guide. I ended up picking the derpy Turtwig, but was happy with him in the end.
The water one is kinda ugly IMO, though I love otters, so maybe if it's evolved form is better I'll still go with it (I've chosen water starters in like 80% of the games).

This one and the fire one (but mostly this one).
