Memorial Day--I'll never forget.

Two years ago today I lost my Daddy. I know that a 38 year old woman should not say Daddy--but, I can't help it. He made me feel like a little girl.....HIS little girl. And I miss him. Heck! I miss that feeling. I miss that secure, safe taken care of feeling that I had whenever I was with him

Oh Sweetie, I'm so sorry you're hurting. I can't believe it's already been two years. But you're absolutely right. He's looking down on you from heaven and smiling. And I have no doubt that he's so very proud of you.

He may not be around anymore to hug and touch... but you know he'll always be in your heart and he'll always be with you.

Edited to add: right after I finished writing this I looked outside and saw a huge rainbow in the sky. I made me smile, and I had to tell you about it.
