She orders some chamomile tea and sits down by the fire.

"Rough one?"

Piper runs her fingers through her hair and looks at the ceiling.

"You know one of those days when you feel like no matter what you do, it's wrong? And not only wrong but really wrong, and by the time you get THAT fixed, something else has gone wrong?

That is a perfect summary of my life."

Piper leans back against the back of the chair, letting out a breath and taking a drink.

She takes a sip of coffee.

"Feel like venting?"

She takes a sidelong look at Kate, seeing her for the first time.
