I didn't want to get my hopes up too much, but I'm happy to say I was approved for an apartment here in town. It's an age 55+ community, and I can start moving in on Tuesday! After sharing my ex- husband's home for 10 years, I'll be so glad to have my own home at last! I will miss the view here, but my EX said he'd pay me to come up here to clean

Glad to hear you were approved. I think you'll like it there. We lived in a 55+ community in Florida and they're as a rule, a much closer group of people.
