Thinking back on my childhood

After my post yesterday, I was thinking about how school days were back then. I remember that we had a full hour for lunch every day, and we all ate a quick lunch and headed outside to play-- boys played ln the boys' playground, girls on the girls' side. Back in those days, our pants weren't called blue jeans, they were called dungarees. Yeah, I remember that on cold days when girls wore long pants under their dresses, upon arrival the girls had to go into the "cloak room" to remove them before class. I think I remember the principal was Mr Von Schlickton or something like that. Mr Rueger was Vice Principal?

I'll look again for my old report cards, pretty sure their names were on them. I definitely remember VonSchlichtin. Vice principal was something like Rueger, but that doesn't sound exactly right to me.
