Dammit dammit dammit, just got back from helping another one of my dear sweet puppies over the Rainbow Bridge,.  For those of you keeping track, in 5 days it will be 3 dogs in 1 1/2 years.  Brutus slipped 2 discs when he was about 3 and has only a handful of episodes with it since.  Fast forward to 2 -3 weeks ago when he started not walking ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry for your loss. I agree that it is best not to rush into getting another dog. To do so would cause more stress and also not respect Brutus' memory. You definitely need to properly grieve. I'm sorry again. (((HUGS)))

Thanks Katie...I appreciate your understanding. Also, I need to know how to give you credit for Scentsy. I went there again and want to place an order but want you to get credit!

Aw, thanks! That is so sweet of you to think of me when placing your order. You can go to my website at www.scentsy.com/candlekatie . Then click on "Place an Order." That will take you to the store and you can choose your category on the right and just add whatever you want to your cart. The order will go to me since you are on my site (the top will say Katie Kuras). Thank you again! Let me know if you have any questions: candlekatie@hotmail.com. BTW, I know you are probably wondering about our IVF so I thought I would let you know that it failed :( I haven't written about it yet. We are trying again in January I think.

I am so sorry to hear about your IVF....I was wondering but didn't want to ask because having people inquire must be stressful. Prayers that next time will be successful!

I too extend my deepest sympathy for your loss. I'm sure you must miss him terribly and I hope other happiness will start to fill in the empty places. You did what you had to do.

Thanks Em, I hope I don't have to do this again for a long long time. Chance is 9 and only has 3 working legs but has been that way since being in a puppy mill, getting his leg caught in a cage and never repaired. He has no back problems and no heart issues....so maybe many many more years with his little 5 pound presence!

Thanks Jill, my heart is still shattered from the first loss, then the second and now Brutus. I honestly think Chance is scared to death that something is going on and he will be taken next to never walk in the door again.
I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving Day also. You have many blessings to be thankful for, remember to take count of each of them.
Hugs

I'm so sorry. It's so hard to loose our loved ones. Have you ever seen life gems? They make a beautiful diamond out of your loved one's remains. I decided today, when Bear leaves me for the bridge, which I pray to go will be a long time from now - that's what i will do to honor him.

I have heard of that before.....awesome way to keep your pet close by. I have their little urns on my mantle..I am going to buy a necklace to keep bits of the ashes in....then when I go..I want to be cremated also, mixed together with them, at that point my family can decide what to do with all of it together.
