Eleven was definitely emotionally resonate this episode, in terms of both his panic, his sadness, his anger, and his compassion. Good job Matt Smith. Good job. River was really good during these episodes. They toned down the smug quite a bit and I loved her scenes with Amy. It was nice seeing in that light. I'd love to see her again because there are still so many unanswered questions.

I kind of like how Moffat is erasing some of the stuff that went on before (it wasn't quite realistic that the people of London would have all of those events happen and still be all OMGWTFALIENS). I kind of view it the same way as I viewed the re-writing of history in the new Star Trek film: a fresh start to a franchise re-boot ( ... )

The more I see of Matt, the more I'm impressed by his acting chops and where he's taking the character. I was really surprised to find myself not-disliking River too! She definitely seemed a lot less smug, and I especially liked how she treated Amy. Her and Eleven squabbling over Amy's well-being made me giggle.

I read your post about the episode too, and I completely agree with what you said about this feeling very sudden for us, but definitely not for Amy. She might not be in love with the Doctor, but enamored and pined after him, definitely. Seeing it in that regard, and as a culmination of all these things, makes her jumping him seem a lot more reasonable (and awesome; the whole tugging on the suspenders thing is like whoaaaa *__*)

(it wasn't quite realistic that the people of London would have all of those events happen and still be all OMGWTFALIENSLOLOL. Very true XD. Though it was pretty hilarious in Voyage of the Damned when London completely vacated in anticipation for their annual alien invasion ( ... )

I think Eleven feels more like the Doctor with each episode, maybe we are getting used to him XD

Nah, River, at least I don't hate her now, still don't like, though XD

AARGH, MOFFAT BETTER NOT WIPE RTD'S ERA FROM EXISTENCE OR ELSE I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR MY ACTIONS.

THAT SCENE IN THE END WAS SO FREAKING HILARIOUS EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T EXPECT...THAT XD I'm still loling at the Doctor finding out that when Amy says "comfort" she really means "sex" XDDD

And the Doctor playing couple's therapist.
I still feel meh about Amy having to get married at 21, THIS IS TOO SOON, SHE IS TOO AWESOME AND INDEPENDENT TO BE MARRIED SO YOUNG. UGH.

TOOTH AND CLAAAAAAAAW ♥

Yeah, I hope so! I like Matt Smith a lot, so I'm really happy that I'm starting to enjoy Eleven as well ♥.

LOL. There's definitely some communication issues going on there... I'm kind of befuddled that it took Amy so long to figure out that the Doctor wasn't interested in going... there. She seems like such a smart girl, I thought she would've gotten the hint the first time he pushed her away, you know?

*squishes you back* ♥

IT'S JUST SO PRETTY AND ATMOSPHERIC AND PRETTY, DID I MENTION PRETTY?
SO, SO PRETTY ♥. I could even just mute the thing and look at all the loveliness and still be thoroughly entertained.

Lol, yeah, I mean she's a gorgeous girl who has been running around with barely a skirt on and did that ever distract the Doctor? Nope. She should have picked that up sooner I guess she's just so sure about her being irresistible (why yes I'd tap thatXD) that she couldn't even think he would refuse.

I thought she would've gotten the hint the first time he pushed her away, you know?
LOL, maybe she think he's unsure of himself, like she confidently suggested "It's been awhile?" XDD O maybe she's just used to getting what she wants...

Yeah, I'm so glad I had a chance to watch it on big screen ♥ I'm glad my Gran made me go that day, you know, there was a new hypermarket/entertainment centre just built near my metro station and I refused to go there because it was new and unknown to me, I used to go to another theatre, like, in ( ... )
