This isn't exactly the homecoming the Doctor had imagined.

He stands in the middle of the Torchwood parking lot, listening as Jack and Pete discuss Rose's disappearance, watching quietly as they volley questions back and forth like some sort of verbal tennis match.

He's not worried. Well, not much anyway. This is Rose Tyler they're talking

Oh,Rose alchol is never the answer to your problems.Is this the reason she's been acting the way she has been? Or is there more to it than her drinking?

I agree with the Doctor about Jack he hasn't been doing a very good job of looking after Rose.

She's just a little bit messed up.Hopefully the Doctor can get through to her.

The drinking started after the Doctor went with the Wraith. A few chapters back...I mentioned her staring into her desk drawer at work at an object that she did not know if she wanted to use or not. It was a bottle of alcohol.
So...the answer to your question is: there is something more going on then her drinking.

Oops! must of missed that I think it was a chapter I was reading when all sorts of chaos was going on around me.Plus the computer being in he front room doesn't help.

Hopefully, we'll get some sort of reconciliation and understanding between our OTP?

I think I’d have to agree with the Doctor about Jack, too; but anyway, I’m glad that Rose has someone to look after her at this point. And hopefully when she’s sober again the Doctor will be able to convince her that he’s real.

Oh, the Doctor is quite possessive over Rose, as we all know. And the fact that Jack let him down, let Rose down, angers him more then anything...even Rose referencing how he killed his own people a few chapters back.

See? The chapter turned out wonderful and all that worrying was for naught.

Poor Rose. She needs some healing. I think they both do. Can we get some healing for these two, please? *pouts*
