Watch us lose, now. I'll blame myself for the jinx. But I know nothing about Washington other than their rank. Oh, and that they rejected me for grad school (to be fair, the ~never got back to me,~ other than to say they had "less than no funding, so thanks for the application fee, chump!"). Fuckers!

Soooo... the Wildcats are somehow to blame for my tuning in all ready for my first game of the season being delayed by some game that was NOT the Duke game I'd been waiting weeks to see? Good to know. Things seem to be going well so far, I will be watching and hating for the next 6 minutes... and then it's on to watch national champs take Coach K to the big 8-0-0.

To be fair, the fact that the Washington game went over, delaying our tip, and that the stupid Oklahoma coach refused to accept he'd lost the game and kept fouling had a little to do with it. But I'd prefer the 'Cats take the credit, personally; anything to make life more miserable for Duke fans. Also, the Maui Invitational announcers are so terrible, I feel they must've had something to do with it, as well. Perhaps not as bad as Dick "I pose with the Duke student section-essentially leading their cheer-before the game …but you should totally take me seriously" Vitale, though.
