England v USA ...tonight!

I wonder if anyone is actually interested in this game?  I'm not sure I could even be bothered with watching it...however I suppose I ought to fly the flag on this post at least!

It seems to me with England being out of Euro 08  everyone here has lost interest in the national team, and the game tonight is going almost unnoticed!

N is much more excited about Euro2008 with England not playing (and yes, he's English). He says at least this way coverage will be about *football* rather than the usual bias/hype surrounding our national side. But then, he loves football, all football, and not especially Ingurland. For me, it'll be the same as any other football tournament - he'll watch obscure matches between teams I couldn't locate on a map! ;)

Except for when England play either Germany or Argentina...when there is no such thing as a friendly game!!

At least we actually won last night! :)
