A Minor, Major Success

This morning, I was involved in a confrontation. This confrontation was not with another person; it was with a spider. Well, it was with three spiders, and yes, they were on the smaller side, so they would equate to one big spider if they were to unite like Voltron. I thought you would like that. When trying to write humorously, I often think of you and what we found hilarious while playing drunken Mario Kar...I mean, "studying."

I also avoid certain words, too. Probe. ;)

1. Confronting any phobia is a HUGE HUGE deal-- let alone making the leap from vomiting and panic attacks to annihilation of the stimuli!! Way to take control.

2. You are good. You are doing something great for yourself by going to grad. school. You are making yourself even more employable. It will get better. I am in awe of your strength and tenacity during a really, really tough stretch. I think you need to give yourself credit for time served here, and recognize that lesser men couldn't have continued to make such positive choices.

3. Did you see Jon Stewart's sign that was meant just for you?

Thanks, Jen. I always worry about sounding too whiny. It seems like there is a fine line between venting frustrations and whinging.

I just watched the clip you sent me. Hilarious! I'm assuming you mean the two-sided sign?
