Am I sensing a certain Muse-backlash? I guess if lots of people rave about a band the natural reaction is to wonder why they think it's so good... and the more people raving, and the more intense their exuberance about it, presumably means that there's a higher standard that they've got to reach in your mind in order for them to be as good as everyone says.
Well, I really like them. Saw them once at Wembley Stadium, sitting up in the back nosebleed section, with much the same attitude - however I loved every second of it. So much so, in fact, that I went & saw them again this year at the O2 (which you might identify better at the Millennium Dome). So yeah - there aren't many bands around that I'd bother putting myself through 2 stadium gigs to see (I hate stadium rock). But I'd do it for Muse.
