I get semi-annoyed with the democrats who use the fact that they didn't vote for the war as a reason for voters to support them. The fact is, we're in a war, and the fact is, that we must continue to fund it until it's safe to leave. If we cut funding to soldiers, whom we should be supporting with money whether we support the war or not, then they will die. It's not about America avoiding the addition of a war loss under their belt, it's about avoiding the loss hundreds of thousands of American lives. I don't see any president being able to get us out of Iraq in the next term, and maybe not for the next ten terms. Even Dennis Kucinich.
That being said, I hate this program and this channel for trying to put words in a politician's mouth.
I agree that your voting history means A LOT when you've had a seat in the Senate or House and then run for President. For one it show whether you "run with the pack" so to speak or vote for what your party deems right or if you research and make a decision that you want to make, the decision that will best help the people you represent.
I didn't either until this video popped up. He was and is quite a gentleman.
Dennis does the same thing for me. My hearts wishes and dreams for what that man could do if only we could get him in office, that lil' stick o' dynomite.
