Benjamin slept last night for five whole hours! Consecutively!
I cannot believe it.

We also enjoyed our baby-free weekend. For the most part.
We just went out and had a few drinks. Yes, drinks. Adult drinks with alcohol.

And when we went home, we slept in

It's good to get a break now and then. Everybody needs vacations!! It keeps you from resenting Benji for taking up every minute of every day, and makes you that much happier to see him later. :^) Every now and then, my folks would leave me with my aunt and uncle for a few days. They loved those weekends 'cause they didn't have to be Mom and Dad, and I loved them 'cause I loved staying with my aunt and uncle. Fun for all! :^)

Have you been following the fracas about the three-year-old who got her family kicked off a plane with her tantrum? As new parents, I'm interested in your thoughts on the subject.
