Happy new year, indeed!
Marcia's boss was very generous for Christmas.
But today in the mail we red'd a pkg from them via The Kansas City Steak Company for the New Year.
Who likes filet mignon wrapped in bacon?
There are three packages in all with different cuts of beef.
How thoughtful is that?!

I'm not a big steak eater but this assortment is so tender and tasty that you don't have to twist my arm to get me to the table!

I think wrapping filet mignon in bacon ruins a good piece of meat (but that is just my opinion.) It is a very thoughtful gift of them.

Any time I've had it in a restaurant, I take the bacon off and don't eat it. We haven't tried the filet mignons yet. But the cuts we've tried have been super superb. It was a thoughtful gift...especially since my freezer & refridge are near empty.
