Elijah's latest doings

Sep 02, 2005 17:30

Not that anyone (in the U.S. at least) is around this weekend, but for my own records I link here a very good article interviewing Elijah Wood about his past and future. Touches on his upcoming films, his plans to get a record label started, and the LOTR experience ( Read more... )

You're welcome. I'm always relieved to find he presents himself so politely and intelligently in these articles, compared to many a ditzy star. :)

Cool! Good to get my mind off all the gruesomeness.
I think my godmother is in Edinburgh now. And she has no interest in Elijah.
And... did "Everything is Illuminated" come out yet? I see no record of it in my area, but that's *sigh* typical.

Everything is Illuminated opens September 16 in the States, if the internet is to be trusted. Not long now!

To think, he never showed up the whole time *I* was in Edinburgh...*sigh* :)

Ah! Good. *makes Milwaukee or Madison plans*

Awww. *pout* He never seems to show up in the Midwest at all (unless you count Chicago) so I"ll probably never meet him.

OOh I'm just over the water.

BTW Balmoral is nowhere near Edinburgh. The only castle in Edinburgh is Edinburgh Castle (strangely enough ... :-P)

*bristles in a scottish type way at this lack of geographical knowledge, then remembers that she has no idea where most of the major english cities are, never mind other countries, and decides not to be so hypocritical*

I was actually referring to the Balmoral Hotel on Princes Street. I lived in dear old "Embro" for a few months once. Walked by it all the time on my way to and from Waverley Station. :)

Oops! Sorry, my knowledge of hotels in Edinburgh in very very slim. Vast amounts of apologies for jumping to conclusions.

*hangs head in shame*

No problem. :) Hm, now somebody else is pointing it out too, though, so it's time to add a postscript of explanation, methinks. As if I'd pretend knowledge of a city I'd never been to, when I've got 700 people ready to jump on me with corrections...sheesh... :)
