So depressed and angry about the woman in Galway being left without an abortion when it probably would have saved her life.
I'll add links tomorrow for those who don't know what I'm talking about ,but it'll be front pages of the Irish Times and Indo.

Very sad to hear this today. Now it's all over the world. Political cowardice at its worst :(

Yeah. A number of people have said that they wondered before if it would take a death to make them move on it.

This is just too awful for words. Poor woman. And her poor partner. I just hope this will be a tipping point towards a more liberal abortion legislation, but the cynic in me thinks it will be another decade or two before anything happens...

What's infuriating many of us is that the equal right to life of the mother is enshrined in the constitution, but not in law. We say that we've been waiting 20 years for legislation, since the X case ruling ,but the equal right to life of the mother has been there since 1983.
And the senior government party are part of the problem. We were proud of the Taoiseach when he stood up to the Church on abuse, but his party are "pro-life". You really have to put that in quotes now, now that that outlook has caused a known death (how many that we don't know about?)
