Irish (or other Gaelic) translation wanted

elorie needs a couple of sentences of Irish or other Gaelic for a novel she's writing. More info here and this comment.

Edit: phrases wanted are:

The only Gaelic I remember these days is "Dul chun drabhlais" (apologies if it's mis-spelled), and I only remember it because it means "To go on a spree of drunken debauchery". And I have a great respect for any language that needs a specific verb for that sort of thing :D

I'm not familiar with that one. But it mightn't be as impressive as you think: "Dul chun" would be something like "go with", making "drabhlais" a noun. So the English could be "go on a bender". Though that mightn't be as debauched.

Huh. irishdictionary.ie says dul chun drabhláis = to go astray. Which could be a euphemism for going on a night of drunken debauchery :-)
