They had canned canned pumpkin in Donnybrook Fair (the deli on the main street on the right as you drive out of town) last year. Fallon Byrne on Exchequer Street may be another possibility.

Great, thanks. I'll pass that on. Going to my first thanksgiving and I don't want to miss out on the things I've never had.

Thanks you! It's not directly for me though. A colleague of nuteile & his wife are hosting a meal next Friday. My first Thanksgiving. I'm more interested in trying the things I've never had than in stuff like turkey, hence the particular interest in pumpkin pie :-) If Donnybrook Fare and F&B don't work out, and the offer is still open, is it ok out of the fridge for a while? Maybe you could bring it to TIK & i could take it from there to the office.

Oh, though you're probably in Blackrock, not town.

But I can give it to one of the girls who will be in town, we do that often to get wool to Pcourt that we don't have there, or vice versa.

I think Fallon & Byrne have pumpkin.

I went ice skating at the RDS a few years ago. It took me an hour to build up confidence to skate away from the fence. When I did so I sent a child flying (it was him or me to be honest, and young bones heal quicker!).

Cool, ta.

Oops! Nuteile was flying yesterday. He had no part of him touching the ground for at least a second, according to one of the guys. He has a graze on his cheek as a memento.

I never got away from the edge. First loop round, I even walked outside the pink to get across the gap. I didn't know how to do it at all, so the only reason I made any forward progress was because I was pulling myself round on the rail. Second round was better - I could move myself a bit. Third round didn't really happen. I'd stopped for a break, got chatting & had only got back on the ice & a small way around when it finished.

I haven't been ice skating for years ~ that's where I started dancing! I still have my sizw 13 skates from my youth... Doubt I could do it now, though.

I wonder if I'm still on the UK donor list, hmmm
