There seems to be some slight variations of this meme going around. What I'm doing is bolding the ones I've read, italicising the one I want to read and underlining the unread one I have. Though there's very few of these I wouldn't eventually read if handed to me.

I enjoyed it and want to read the rest of the related books (I read Quicksilver recently), but it is long and a lot of people say it drags.

You should write your own book, called Cryptonomnomnomnicon.

I rather enjoyed Cryptonomicon (and found the cryptography stuff in it fascinating), but started Quicksilver and ended up not finishing it. Lots of interesting historical facts and speculation, interesting characters, but NO PLOT WHATSOEVER.

The end was disappointing. It just seemed to stop.

It did get plottier when the focus was on Eliza. But mostly I liked the historical characters and hearing about what mad stuff they believed or investigated.

AWWWW Anne of Green Gables....that reminds me of my childhood. Loved that book Weirdly I can remember how it smelled. Not sure what that says about me!
