Isn't that awesome!? I was too tired last night when I finally posted to do a full PDF with all art, but I wanted to get at least SOME in there, and because my artist is just amazing. She's getting tons of feedback, which I knew she would, and I'm so, so happy for her!!

Also, thank you honey! The AO3 option is the one I always pick when it's available, too - I tend to use instapaper to read fic more than anything else, but only having to click save on one file is far, far nicer than on five or ten. =D

Exacty and yes - the art work is fantastic! I've memmed that already - hers and Barbara-ger's are the best I;ve seen so far, and the standard has been incredibly high (intimidatingly so as someone who was booked for a couple of arty things myself!)

You made me laugh out loud on the first page btw - with the sacred writing time and the fact he'd done nothing but play games within the allotted time. Fellow feeling... :D

Isn't she amazing? I could not believe my luck when I first saw her work. I couldn't have picked anyone better if I had all of fandom to choose from, it was like she pulled the images right out of my head. And she's just so, so good!!

I hope you enjoy the story too -- I am all about the AO3, so I'm glad people are using it!

Very enjoyable! just the right amount of angst, leavened with humour and good cooking (what is it about having one of them be a good cook that is so appealing? IDK but it is...). I must say, if anything I have even more admiration for the art now, it really fit your fic so incredibly well - creating exactly the right atmosphere. And that final picture of the dogs - perfect for enhancing that feeling of coming home that you created in your last few pages.

I feel it would be appropriate to offer you and lamapan some insanely silly cup cakes now, don't you?

Hand 'em over! =D The crazy thing about this story? While I was in the middle of it, I got diagnosed gluten-sensitive. So there I was, stuck writing a story about MUFFINS and totally unable to have any. *cries*

Ok, it wasn't really just about muffins, but there were times when I was like, couldn't I have made him a software engineer?
