A month or so ago, we bought the BG some sneakers. They light up with each step she takes and they have Spiderman on them (or 'Fiderman, as she likes to call him), and she LOVES them ( Read more... )

Two daughters who read spiderman comics, and two sons who like my little pony - one with obsessive adoration. Although I have to say spiderman is on the pile but The Authority Is the in-house favorite :-)

I will come over and share my Spider-man (Stan Lee prefers the hyphen) books and toys with her! Spider-man rocks and is very cool and so are people who like him!

Come to think of it, watching The Incredibles might be good, too. It has 2 female superheroes in it, so it can generate discussion about how superheroing isn't limited to gender and neither is liking superheroes.
