Today was the last day of classes of my first year of medical school. I'm kinda in a state of shock. It's usual, of course, for time to pass more quickly as one grows older, however, this past year seems in hindsight to have lasted about a month. Of course, some of the individual days seemed endless, but on the whole... it flew by at

Congrats on (almost) finishing your first year! The shock of realizing that grad school is much more demanding than undergrad often undermines many people, so pat yourself on the back for your fortitude!

This summer I'll be doing research (strictly the soft stuff -- I won't be within 10 feet of a pipette, which is a good thing for both myself and science in general)
