wow, small world indeed.

So I have a question for you, how many years of japanese did you take in college before you actually went there? Cuz the teacher I have is really sucky and I don't plan on taking it next year mostly due to me failing miserably now. I have my japanese coach and I learn kanji on my own and I have a year of chinese under my belt so I was wondering what you did in college to get to where you are?

I'm going to register for classes on the 17th and I was thinking I should ask you for advice.....

I bet it's a lot easier to learn a language when you live in the country....

Oh! And did you get an education license or did you double major in education? Because I'm going to be double majoring (just because I want to teach in many countries so I thought I should just go the whole nine yards, ya know?)

Also, watership down is a very good book :3 I don't think the movie quite did it justice. (^^);;

I studied Japanese for 3 years and also one summer abroad in Tokyo, because it was my minor. I never took any education classes at all! I think that I might have benefited from it but it was not a job requirement for me. Speaking Japanese wasn't required either but I know I have a lot better communication with everyone because of it and it makes living in Japan much easier. I would recommend taking as much as you can, if you specifically want to come to Japan ( ... )

Welcome back :o)

Small world kind of coincidences are crazy; yours was definitely a really good one!

My iPod died a while ago, the sad part is that you can't just replace the battery.

That's what I was afraid of... is there a way to send it into Apple to get a new battery or do you have to just buy a new iPod?
