I ate an apple today at lunch as part of my bento.  Little did I know that Japanese people never eat whole apples..... they always cut them up first.  I guess they were surprised.  I told them it was easier that way and continued eating it down to the core, heh ( Read more... )

I'm glad this year is going so well for you. And I hope all goes well as you sort out your career plans. I think you must have a lot of patience to work with children, something I sadly lack. lol

All I can think of right now is to look into things at churches, libraries, and organizations like the Boys & Girls Club, and of course like you said, camps or leisure/recreation centers.

I wonder why they never eat whole apples. That seems inconvenient to always cut up apples.
I do it on occasion, but only if I'm dipping the apple in peanut butter.
