Ok it's been raining all day and that can't stop the gorgeous feeling that the cherry trees are giving off.  Seriously it's like someone threw pink confetti all over them.  They're SO PRETTY.  I need to take pictures but I keep forgetting and I will hopefully go for a walk this weekend so I can record this as my first spring in Japan.  Thanks to ( Read more... )

You're so cool Darcy. How long are you going to be in Japan? (I feel like I should know this already, just forgive me since I don't) If it's not long, thats good. It its a long time, like more than two years, after I marry Justin I'll come visit you during the spring and bring him along. I'd love to see the cherry blossoms almost as much as I'd love to see you!

By the by,It makes sense wanting long dark hair when you're surrounded by it most of the time. I know some people in japan bleach their hair and dye it, but the natural black is gorgeous, I think. I'm trying to grow mine out too, except mine seems to be getting lighter as it grows! I wonder if I will be blond by the end of the summer, wouldn't that be strange? :)

Miss you Darcy.

Love, Em

I have until August of 2009. Which I think is a long time but it's less than 2 years. I've been here since August of 2007 so that's 8, going on 9 months. Quite a while to be in Japan! But I'm 1/3 done.

I've been growing my hair out since I got here and it's getting quite long for me. When I come home I'm sure you'll be quite astounded hehe.

When is this wedding of yours because I want to be there.
