No matter how many times Bailey has to leave me to go with her father... I always feel a little sad when she drives away. I'd like to think that it's preparing me for when she leaves for college.... but it's definitely not the same.
It stopped being horrible about the time the Black Rosebud of Doom was eight or so. Took me that long to realize she'd be back somewhere deep inside, I suppose. College won't be bad. Kindergarten was murder.
Aw. :( I can't imagine what it's like to have someone you love away for even a day. She's still your little girl, and always will be. And before you know it, she'll be home again soon. :)
