I watched Blue Velvet for a film class a couple years ago and thought it was really messed up. That's about as coherent as my thoughts about that movie get. =P

It was pretty messed up, but I swear to you it was the most coherent thing of his I've seen so far. I had to make a chart to keep everything straight during the first season of Twin Peaks, and that was only eight episodes. :|

Heh, well, in the case... Note to self: avoid the rest of David Lynch's work. :P

In THAT case. God, I've been making so many typos lately, it's just plain embarrassing. *facepalm*

You know what's hilarious? My mum (big Meg Ryan if that says anything) bought this movie for apparently no other reason than it was on sale. I was looking for something to watch one day and fished this out because it was like the black sheep of my mum's DVD collection, yanno? Anyway, for some reason or other I only got to see a bit of it before I was interruped. The parts I saw though? Uh, WTF?

However, I can't WAIT til my mum attempts to sit through this!

Dude. DUDE. You have to watch it in its entirety before your mom does because it will be all the more hilarious when she runs screaming from the TV.

I like Blue Velvet well enough, but Mulholland Drive is one of my very favorite movies, and I have been known to watch it at any opportunity.

Does Mulholland Drive get better with repeat viewings? I've only seen it once and I'm... completely bewildered by it, to put it lightly.
