Glad to hear you've been doing pretty good. :) And also that the academic work is going well. Sounds like things are really moving along.

And man, that stuff with the brittle stars is pretty cool! So weird that they can change their 'front' at will like that, and awesome of you to figure that out. The Creature Cast was a really neat (and informative) piece of animation, and I'm subscribing to that blog now. And it was great to see you on the Discovery Channel show. :3 (lovely shirt, by the way)
