That sounds like it makes no sense, but I started the year with all good intentions of keeping up my LJ and my book blog, and then lapsed. I'd like to do

You are going to retire?? You just slipped that in the middle!! I guess we are getting to that age aren't we? I hope your plans go the way you want as you will be able to do even more wonderful cultural things and I will be able to tag along (in spirit anyway)

I have made myself a promise to journal more this year, more for my emotional well-being than anything else.
