Do go. There is damage all over the city, more in some parts than others. But it's coming back. And the people will be glad to see you.

Sounds like the most marvelous time, though sad in parts. I was looking at the pic of Big Chief, and scrolled on down to the one of Victor Harris. That suit is phenomenal. Did you get a rude FEMA shirt?

Thank you for sharing this report MJM. Every time I heard a story on NPR about the fest I thought of you. I've always wanted to go to NO but I haven't yet. After reading this entry I want to go more than ever.
