In Huff's first book, the demon writes his name, not a pentagram. I admit I winced when I saw the pilot. From only two or three murders, Vicki concluded a pentagram was being drawn. You put down three random dots, even at regular intervals, and you can't tell that's going to be a pentagram.

I liked that Henry's instinct was to help while Mike's was to shoot.

I'm glad if you think that was okay. It felt right to me, but ...

Yeah, it is a bit much to guess at a pentagram from only three points. But... not knowing how it was in the book, I didn't think to question it at the time.

I couldn't tell quite -why- Mike was going to shoot when it happened though. I was thinking maybe he didn't want to be dinner. And then I thought maybe he was just generally pissed off from the day he had and was feeling irascible PLUS not wanting to be dinner.

I missed the first half of the pilot because of church...and I loved the 2nd half...this Story is AWESOME!!!! after its over u need to make a sequel.

Great! I'm SO glad you like it.

I don't have any specific plans for a sequel to this one. (Hey! What makes you think they're all going to live? ;) ) But I've only done two deadly sins; there are still five to go.

Wheew, I finally got to read this! And loved it! Very interesting with the DVD store's weird DVDs. His name, huh? Yeah I can see where that be a little 'much' in Huffs book. But it works here.

You know? I actually REALLy liked that Mike recoiled from Henry after what he'd been through. And I liked that it stung Henry when Mike said he didn't do it for him. Was that because, after everything, Henry might actually care what Mike thinks of him? *grin*

"No trespassing," she read. "Violators will be prosecuted."

I had to snort at this. Heh. Gives new meaning to chastity belt. Ha!

Can't wait to see more!
