I have the same hair! I had Ramona Quimby hair up until I was 17, when I cut my hair like Natalie Imbruglia in that one video, and it all grew back wavy. It is a very exciting thing to have happen, I can vouch for that.
(I was given details about Food Inc. by someone who saw it and now I don't even want to look at a chicken, ever.)
Isn't it awesome?! Hair reboot! Also I looooved that Natalie Imbruglia video. And by loved I mean I'll probably go watch it right now.
I was reluctant to see it because I was like, dude, I already know chickens get treated horribly, I don't want someone to try to force me to be vegetarian with shock tactics, but it wasn't like that at all. I mean, there was some very gross stuff, but mostly it's like, let's eat meat, let's just not eat disgusting meat from evil corporations. The worst part was how horrible the corporations were to the little guy; bringing slaughterhouse workers up from Mexico and then having an arrangement with the INS to deport them, totally persecuting old Midwestern farmers for reusing their own seed. Ugh, injustice.
(Your icoooooooon. <3 <3 <3 I think Betty is my favorite.)
IT IS. Wavy hair is so much more manageable, too! Headbands and clips don't slide right out anymore like they used to. Haha, and that video is one that will always be awesome no matter how old it is (like all Britney videos).
Ugh, now I feel like I actually should see the movie. That's a lot of stuff I didn't know. :(
Betty is my favorite, oh man. At first it was a toss-up between her and Peggy (and Joan, oh god, in the episode where she gets to help with reading the soap opera scripts? And then they replace her?), but BETTY. She's so strong and sad and amazing.
Knowing that I can't get too lost because I'll always have map access is the best thing for living in a new city.
Or in the same city! I got lost in downtown Boston last night somehow! It was strange; I hadn't been to the North End in awhile, and we were approaching it coming from South Station, and years later it's still so weird that there's no more ugly freeway underpasses to go through to get a cannoli.
and then we'll go pick up my new! bike! from the store
Oooooh, what kind? What does it look like? I smiled at a biker last night pedaling through the Financial District, all fixie and tattooed, and he looked genuinely surprised, then smiled back. Secretly, I was a bit jealous he had a bike to get home on right there and mine was parked umpteen miles away.
That's for the data plan (i.e. internet access)! It's on top of my phone plan, which costs $45 (with texting), but there's also a $35 option I'd have if I just talked a *little* less. T-Mobile rocks!
DUDE. That song is awesome! Also, that dream is surprisingly detailed ahaha. I have totally lost count of the number of times I've had the "have to redo something from college/high school" dreams oh god oh god.
Why does it happen?? Ever since I decided to move last spring I've had *way* more of the Go Redo High School dreams, haha, what does *that* say about my subconscious? Probably that I'm really afraid of having to ever take math again.
I keep thinking how great of a Skins vid this song would make. RIGHT?
