Ten years ago on New Year's around this very time, I was recovering from a bout of the flu that had very nearly required hospitalization and had been compromised with pneumonia. I think we have similar outlooks and reflections on life, and I love you for seeing new things, working in new places, meeting new people. I'll be wishing for lots more of that in the next decade.
I'm sorry to hear about your mom, I hope she'll get to go home soon *hugs for you both*.

Tanniiii! It's been so good becoming your friend, getting to know someone who has interesting and similar tastes and interests, and I agree, I wish more of that for you in the next year and ten. ^_^ Keep living like you do, because you do it so well! *many hugs*

And thanks for the well wishes for mum - she'll be going to a rehab center in a few days, it's looking like, to help her regain the little mobility she's lost, and she'll be there for a few weeks. Then she'll be home and hopefully back to as normal as she gets. XD
