Matt took me to the zoo today. There are actual unicorns there! I was going to draw one of them, but I couldn't get close enough and we didn't have a camera to take a picture of it.

But I did draw one of the cheetahs. He didn't see me, which is why he probably stood so still.

You should! I'm sure he'd like that. Maybe next time you can try to get closer to the unicorns, too. They're shy but can be pretty friendly.

They ran away from me. Maybe it was because Matt was there. How do you get them to be friendlier?

I've gone to see them a number of times, yes. A zoo is a good place for observing the way that animals like dinosaurs look, although maybe not their natural behavior.

Were they your favorites? Or the unicorns?

They stomped their feet and growled a lot. Isn't that their natural behavior?
