Lol, and I thought this economy wouldn't affect me. And truth be told it hasn't really- at least not directly. My parents have no debt and are as unaffected as possible. But now, because OTHER people's families are struggling, I can't find a new roommate or someone to sublet my apartment to this summer. In terms of roommates, it's not that I haven' ( Read more... )

I don't know what to suggest about the summer. If you're really desperate for next year, I know you don't know her that well, but I could see whether Rachel has applied to residence yet, or wait and see if she gets in...

BTW, month-to-month my apartment is cheaper than residence. And is bigger, and isn't always stuffy and smelly, and doesn't charge you for random fees at the end of the year (which is what happened to Katie and a lot of other people in res) and it's quieter cause I'm in a corner apartment. So basically, like, better in every way. lol.
