B5 query

So the Brit Babylon 5 season 5 DVDs are missing the all important pre-opening-credits intro scene for The Fall of Centauri Prime. Is that the case with the DVD sets in other regions?

If not, is there anyone who would be prepared to rip that one chapter for me?

Morning, Him Downstairs here...

I am informed that: the show opens with a recap of events from Movements of Fire and Shadow.
Viz: 'Delenn's White Star attacked and crippled by Centauri ships; Lyta and Franklin telling Sheridan about the Shadow pods they found on the Drazi Homeworld; Sheridan realizing what the pod-controlled ship's goal is; the Regent telling Londo that "They" made him turned off planetary defenses and sent away all their ships; the Drazi and Narn fleet attacking Centauri Prime.'
Perhaps it dissapeared because it is a recap? Although why go to the trouble of removing it?

No, I don't accept that, as after the credits there are references to things that have happened that were quite clearly seen in the original.

No, the German DVDS (same region, but we got them several months earlier) have the same mistake. Lots of complaints ensued, followed by a promise of a later edition with the scene back.

That's not the only screw-up: they also ignored the fact that the credits for THe Corps is Mother, the Corps is Father were changed to show the Psi Corps symbol, and just inserted the old credits...

It must be more difficult to change things than to leave them alone so why bother at all??? The sequence might have got corrupted I suppose?

ON THE WARNER BROS SITE WE READ:

'Spoke to Warner Bros UK Today. They admit that the B% problem is on every R@ box set. They are awaiting the master from USA and then will issue replacement discs to those who have contacted them.

Tel 020 7984 6100 (Warner Bros UK) and ask for DVD Customer Services. You may well end up on an answerphone, but they ran back within the hour. Once you explain the problem they take your address and promise to send out the replacement. But it's going to be at least two weeks according to them.

Hope this helps the R2 buyers
