So! It figures it would take having the garage roof set on fire to actually get someone's ass moving on all the vandalism that's been happening. Actually, it took the fire chief having to come down here at 3:30am to douse a fire a few days after the window was busted, and being told that nothing had been done so far, and looking at some recent ( Read more... )

OMG, finally! This guy has been getting away with this shit for far too long. I hope he does some real time.

I have a feeling this is one of the same guys that broke into the house to steal my great-grandpa's gun collection during my great-grandpa's funeral. They also stole a bunch of stuff out of the garage before we put in block glass in the windows.

I see it as thanks to the fire chief. If they do lock up this guy, I am going to buy him a cake.

I hope so too, since I don't think any of the guys have been in jail for such a long time. Hopefully it'll be a deterrent to another one picking up where he leaves off.

He's Bud's grand-nephew, and Bud's whole family is up in arms over not getting everything after my great-grandpa died. Like this house, which my great-grandma had paid off before they were even married. Not to mention she was still living here when he died. Some idiot lawyer convinced Bud that after my great-grandpa died, everything goes to him as the son. Our own lawyer pointed out that the Will actually said it was optional that they get any money at all, and Tami (as power-of-attorney) had been willing to give them some from the sale of the house in Florida that was falling apart- but she was going to wait until this house sold. Every time they do something to cost us money, they're just hurting themselves.

........... I don't think I could ever trust anyone related to a 'Bud' as is. But I'm biased.

I'm not even sure if that's his given name or not, since that's all I've heard him called for years. Grand-nephew's name is Rocky. Sister goes by Cookie. What is with this family and names, man.

Jesus Christ. And once this is over with, file a lawsuit against your local police for pulling this bullshit. There is no excuse for their sorry handling of all this!

The police in this town are so corrupt. I wouldn't be surprised to find out this guy's family has more than a few in their pocket.
