We survived the hurricane becasue it moved east and tortured all the soggy people in Louisiana and MIssissippi again. IT was a hugely stressful couple of day, to look at your home and decide what items wear precious enough to you to fit in one car if you had to leave. Hi, How's it going? I have the next bit of Recovery for you here http://www.livejournal.com/users/rachelmap/44201.html when you have time to beta it. Typos and other usual glitches aside, I have a couple concerns in this bit. First, there's a 3-sentence section told from the POV from some inanimate objects that I'm considering leaving out because it might explain too much. My husband thinks I should keep it in, but not have it where it is because, in his opinion, it breaks the narrative flow. So we have some disagreement here. My other concern that I haven't set up what has to happen in a believable way. Do the events in this chapter seem credible to you?

Yoo-hoo! Chapter 25 is ready for beta, and here http://www.livejournal.com/users/rachelmap/49568.html it is when you have a moment to look it over. Some concerns I have this time are that I may have padded the story. Also, I'm a bit worried about my characterization of Drusilla (I don't want it to be too obvious why she does what she does, but I do want alert readers to be able make some kind of guesses as to where I'm going with that), and maybe my OCs too. Does Brad seem consistent? How does Wheatly strike you? Let me know what you think?

Helo, hello, and Happy New Year!

I just posted Chapter 26 (parts a & b) for beta, but I'm not sure whether you can see it because I made a filter just for you and I'm not sure I did it right. So, can you see them? If you can't, that maybe means everybody but you can see them which would be really annoying. If you can see them, do they seem OK to you? What do you think?

Hey, hey, hey! Chapter 27 is up for beta when you have a moment. :-)

Aside from typos, the things I'm most worried about with this bit is the flow of the plot; does it make sense to you? Is it natural? Is there anything that stikes you as missing or superfluous? What do you think?
