Count Zero=good

I discovered them and Bleu on the same night at CZ's CD release party. I've seen them play some amazing shows and some really off ones. They need a manager, big time. Peter Moore is such a spectacular talent, but I think he needs some sort of guiding influence to get him out to the big, wide world.

"hire a bird" by think tree was played with great frequency on wfnx when i was in middle school. i loved that song. years later, i made this movie in which peter moore acted. i didn't put it together that he wrote that for a while, and i think i made some comment about how i was in middle school when eight thirteen came out. this was met with a comment of the "geez, i'm THAT old?" ilk.

Peter rules. I saw him in Jesus Christ Superstar as Pilot and he kicked unholy ass. Standing ovation and all.

he was great to work with in the hidden, especially since i was so incredibly inexperienced. i hope i can work with him again someday.

oh, it's the same bad album, just all tarted up.

i can't wait for patricia keneally morrison to find the song that turns into the doors' "hello i love you". especially since she didn't credit ol' jimbo. wackiness ensues!

Jimbo ripped his song off from "All Day and All of the Night" by the Kinks. So Patty the professional widow slash fantasy novelist can get in line behind Ray Davies. Or maybe everyone runs off to the nearest pub for a pint instead...

dammit. i was looking forward to watching her squirm, too.

unfortunately, the rape fantasy song with the samples from the twilight zone ("living doll", natch) hasn't been recorded. pity, too. if there's anyone you don't want to fuck with, it's mrs serling.
