i genuinely feel bad about not being able to attend the wake or the funeral, and i have a weird feeling i'm going to regret it later. so i want to at least remember him here.

something about teachers...especially teachers we notice and appreciate...when they die we find a part of ourselves dying--and how could it not? you're a wonderful roommate chelsea...your feelings run deep.
