hey, truffaut was probably the most human and least mawkish character in all of spielberg's oeuvre...

fave truffaut: gotta be the 400 blows. maybe you could tell.

That's a great film. I also love Shoot the Piano Player and The Bride Wore Black.

i love that the little kid from the periphery of the 400 blows plays fideaux in piano player. apparently this is what he was doing while antoine doinel was having affairs.
