saddest music = incredible. the best movie i've seen all year, or am likely to see all year.

i'm trying to think of a tactful way to tell an individual in my immediate surroundings that she makes me uncomfortable, and that she should leave me alone. (n0ire, this was the woman we talked about at dinner. *ahem*) the individual in question

As a Maddin first-timer, let me say that the impact was similar to seeing a Waters or Cronenberg or Welles or Lynch for the first time - being let into a world no one ever got to before, probably because they didn't even suspect its existence.

I think I missed it. It was in town for the Phila. Film Festival last month, and there are no other screenings scheduled in Philly for at least the rest of May.

Guess I'll just have to wait for the DVD.
