[Nepeta turns on the camera shakily. It's her first time using a video feed in a long time, and it shows. The screen is tilted a little, but straights out after she props it up on the ground. It shows a young troll girl with gray skin, dusty and scratched horns, and dark rings under her eyes that she hopes no one will notice. She hasn't slept in..

AC assures Mr. Tobias that she's purrfectly okay! She just misses living in her cave.. it's been a long time since she lives anywhere but the lab in the Veil. She purrmises that she won't get hurt, even if Gam-- ummm... if monsters come by, she has sharp teeth and claws to defend herself with!

I purrmise I'm okay! And by purrmise I mean promise, just so you know I'm serious! There are Earth squeakbeasts all ofur the place in here, so there's plenty to eat, and I haven't seen any big mon... [She glances around and then shakes her head clear.] There's nothing scary on Earth at all! I'm a strong troll and I can take care of myself! In fact, I bet I could hunt a musclebeast now, with how strong I've gotten befur now! [Or how strong she would be, if she were able to sleep. Not that she'll mention that - it never does any good to tell people you're weak.]

I think my cave might need some fluffy things to make it softer, but I've already caught some prey, so I don't think I'll be hungry any time soon! Are earth squeakbeasts always so easy to catch? [See, look, she's speaking in first person. Kaoru should be proud of her seriousness and now fine she is.

I built a cave beclaws I'm more used to it! Living in the Veil was so wierd when I had to have my catnaps in a lab room... Living in a cave reminds of her. Of... of my lusus. [It's kind of a sad smile that shows up on Nepeta's face. Remembering Pounce de Leon and their adventures, and how she's been gone for ages. It takes some clearing of her throat before she continues.]
