I just watched Witness for the Prosecution for the first time ever, and I'll admit, it's my first Billy Wilder movie.

Wow.

Wow.

FUCKING WOW.

What a fantastic movie! Not just a compelling courtroom drama (I love that with the blood as the evidence, I wondered why they didn't do a DNA test, and I realized just how easy the case would have been then... ( Read more... )

Yeah, I'd have to go with "The Usual Suspects". When I saw it the whole theater gasped and yelled "OH MY GOD!!!" then applauded even before the movie ended.

The B movie fan in me also liked the ending of the first "Saw" movie. I don't know if there was a twist on the other ones (I didn't see them).

"Fight Club" kinda threw me for a loop but that wasn't quite a twist ending. More like...an-almost-to-the-ending twist.

The Usual Suspects came out when I was still watching Disney movies - still do, not the point - so I missed seeing it in theatres.

"Fight Club"...hated it. Very good, I'll admit. But it's way too dark and depressing. I'm not a nihilist.

Never saw "Saw." Don't like scary movies - but it has a twist? Beyond typical horror fare? Awesome.

I really don't like horror movies but that's the movie everyone picked. I went along. The movie changes in the last two minutes or so. So sitting through all the gore and wince-inducing scenes was kinda worth it for the ending.

Except it made you roll your eyes and go "Oh great....sequel."
